iLaps works on Windows Mobile devices. Windows mobile comes in
two flavors Pocket PC and Smartphone. You will get the most out of
iLaps if you use a Pocket PC device compared to Smartphone but the
Smartphone does include the basic functionality but does have a
limited GUI.
A wide range of Pocket PC and Smartphone products come from HTC
www.htc.com and HP www.hp.com
Palm Treo (750, 700W) www.palm.com
and LG www.lge.com .
iLap should basically run on any Windows Mobile 5 or 6 device
with a 240x320, 640x480 and 800x600 display, but is only tested
on HTC TyTn I and II and SE Xperia X1 models.
As new models are coming out you have to understand that we
cannot guarantee that iLap will work on all new devices. If you are
experience any problem on your device please first search the forum
to see if anybody are experience the same problem and post in same
thread. Or else create a new post in the forum. The development team
will read and give you feedback.
How accurate is iLap timing ?
This will depend on which type of GPS receiver you use. Generally
a cheap GPS will log your position every sec. iLaps will interpolate
the logged positions and in normal to good conditions give you an
accuracy of 1/10 sec. We believe that this is enough for most
people.
The accuracy also depends of how good GPS reception is. The
better you mount the antenna/device the more accurate timing you
will have. Please note that some solar reflective windscreens can
reduce signal strength.
If you are experience any problem on your device please first

On the forum we will post news and also what models we currently
are working on. If you cannot find your model you can post a request
and hope for the best :-).
No problem, hopefully you will be able to connect to an external GPS device via bluetooth or a serial cable.
This is working fine for many of our customers, but remember to use to use the trial version before you decide to buy.
